Lviv Ukrainian Children’s Theatre

Ukraine’s oldest theatre for children and youth founded in 1920 in Kharkiv, the former capital. Since 1944 the Theatre has been based in Lviv. Some of the most interesting performances for children and youth – Ukrainian and World classic works – have included D. Herasymchuk “Knyazhich Lev”, the historical fantasy about the foundation of Lviv; Brothers Grimm “Snowwhite and the seven Dwarfts”, T. Shevechenko “Nazar Stodolya” and Moliere’s “Tartuffe”.

VOSKRESINNIA Theatre

Lviv Voskresinnia Theatre was founded in 1990 by Yaroslav Fedoryshyn and group of young actors from various cities of Ukraine. In a short while, the Theatre won the respect of audiences and theatre critics due to the consistent search for its own distinctively expressive stage form.
